Love it. Some of the best characters in a sketch show since Scotch & Wry. Personal favourites - Mulvaney, DeeDee & especially Falconhoof... who I have dubbed 'The Hoof'. Bring on the last 2 episodes.

Ooft looks like a bit of a difference of opinion here but i'm sure we can all agree upon Limmy's stuff being pretty unique. Yeah it can be a bit hit and miss but that happens with any comedy show. For me it has been mostly hits and i've enjoyed it so far.

Here's what i've thought of the show so far. Pilot was really good, 1st episode was no bad but a wee bit slow, 2nd episode was much better, 3rd episode was pure dyno and 4th wasnt up to much but still worth a watch. Hope to see a second series, congrats in the rise to fame.

Just watched episode 4 oan iPlayer as I missed it oan Monday. Not commented on here in a while. Watched all the episodes of your show so far, and the third was the best. Derek's Kitchen adventure was unbelievably good. The missus and I were sitting watching Ep 4 and during the 'Yes or No' Murder debate sketch (which I'd already really seen a while back, but pretended I hadn't so as not to spoil it for her), we both observed that above all else, you're really a very good actor.

Hi Limmy, never heard of you until last friday night when I caught the repeat of Episode 3. Hadnt laughed so hard in years, the guy in the kitchen sketch (Dee Dee?) was a work of genius, really struggled to control my laughter had to laugh like Mutley cause my wife and kid were asleep, didnt want to wake them, so funny though, thanks for that. But i like the silly stuff too. Keep up the good work. The sketch with the guy trying to get into his flat before talking to his neighbour was classic. It was the "dick" that made it.

I really liked both the stalker and Jaquelines sketch tonight in contrast to some. When does the poor girl get a break though. Each show gets better but missed Falconhoof tonight. Maybe it's all got too much for him and he's retreated from society. Maybe Dee Dee IS Falconhoof just a few years later.
Anyway keep up the good work. Get another series, do away with the hello's and goodbye's eventually and we can look forward to Jaqueline Mcafferty getting her own series (it must have crossed your mind).

I have put off posting until we got to see few episodes, got to say last nights was up there as the worst yet, I have been a fan of yours for years but some of the stuff you have done in your series is just plain duff. The stalker 'sketch 'at the start?! WTF was that all about. Remaking your web vids?, none of them are as good as the originals. IMHO it all looks as if you panicked and were forced to use everything you had rather than being selective, you should have told the BBC you needed more time rather than try and write so much as the quality has suffered big time. Why didn't you just use your world of Glasgow material as the resource for this series? Highlights:-Falconhoof, Dee Dee, Jaq Mcafferty, Low lights:- You giving your speeches, saying hello, welcome and cheerio(if you get a second series dump all that pish as it dinsea work!!) Give me Big phil, Tom, the wee erse bandit etc.
Hope this doesn't come across as anything other than the constructive criticism it is meant as. I will still be watching the rest of the series for the gems that are in there.

in a minority here as i didn't think it was as good as 2 and 3. maybe because i've listened (and laughed) at the podcasts i just don't find them as highlights. the new sketches (falconhoof and new mulvaney) are standouts. played the falconhoof in 3 to a colleague and laughed out loud for the 3rd or 4th time of watching.

that said, who am i to knock it? i'm not the one with the tv series!

Nearly every sketch in that episode had me laughing! Thought the nosy neighbour one was going on too long until you said something which made it funnier. My favourite in this one was Dee Dee by a mile. His wee laugh at the end was brilliant. The first sketch was quite funny. I could go on but it would basically be me saying that I liked every sketch so there you go :) Dee Dee was still the best though!

tonights episode was a topper! funny as fuck! well done limmy, spot on! the "yes or No" sketch was redone well, as was the 'nightmare" sketch, was actually howling! liked your piece after the sock sketch too! deedee was epic as per usual! this was my favorite episode so far! the last sketch was good anol! looking forward to next weeks episode!

Good stuff, have really enjoyed the previous shows but have missed John Paul. My old flat mate used to have nightmares about cannibalistic neds attacking him(used to live in Crosshill, so a real possibility) and John Paul's type was probably first in the queue to rip pieces off him!

you managed to write all that without a single full stop. however, you did manage 6 exclimation marks, 2 commas and an elipse. i don't know whether to congratulate you or tell you to stop shouting!!!!!!!

looking forward to tonights episode! didnt really find last weeks episode laugh out loud funny as much as the other 2! It was really humorous in a dark way and i still liked it though! but then again i dont know if i was ment to be laugh out loud funny! who knows!
