International Talk Like a Pirate Day

I went on to Flickr today and saw that they’ve got a pirate flag on their logo. I done a search to see why, and it turns out it’s because it’s International Talk Like a Pirate Day today.

Why is it I sometimes wish people would get together and do something daft and pointless like an International Talk Like a Pirate Day, but when they do, I think they’re a bunch of wee geeky fannies and I want to ruin it for them.

Am I a cunt?

    I turn my nose up at that kind of carry on an aw. How can folk organise something like that? International Talk Like A Pirate Day? I mean, come on. If I said to myself one day "I'm going to motivate people around the world to... talk like a pirate!" I'd go and hang myself.

  • Got in on this lasty year when I had my blog hijscked by Blaaask Jaaak Baaastard, the most evil pirate ever to sail the Leeds and Liverpool canal.

    I haven't done anything this year but I am planning a Blaaack Jaaack Baaastard movie.

    I like to dress up and talk in silly voices, people should do it more often.
