Last night’s shows

I want to say thanks to those who went last night for being a brilliant audience, as cheesy as that sounds!

I know from having done the same show at the Fringe day after day that sometimes half the room can just sit there and not get into it. But last night was all loud and happy, so thanks! You made my first two-shows-in-a-row experience very enjoyable!

And if you can forgive me following up my heartfelt thanks with the punting of tickets for my next show, I’d like to remind you folks that didn’t manage to see last night’s show that I’ll be doing it again – for the last time, I’m sure, surely for the last time – at The Stand in Edinburgh on Tuesday 25th.

I’ve no plans to visit Edinburgh or Glasgow before Christmas, so I guess I’ll just have to sit here and wonder what it was like.

Anyone who’s going to the show and wants to make a quick tenner, conceal a camera in your hat and send me the video.

  13. Boffo says:

Aye very well done for last night Limmy. Cheers! Although there were many highlights, I have to say the timing on the Staffy video was spot on. You deserve an oscar.

I couldny help laughing when I came home and they were talking about levers on Newsnight Scotland (might’ve been leavers but fuck it) Why aren’t you down for Scottish Comedian of the Year?

  14. T.J. Hooker says:

Right, for all us cunts that couldnae get a ticket. Can you fire up your double take video that I liked on your first ever show?

  15. Nivster says:

It was a classic night. I was wondering how you were going to compete with the decrepit Bowie freak up the stairs. I was already pissin myself from watching him before I came downstairs. What a fud.
    Anyway, great show.

  16. Ross G says:

    Limmy,

The show was absolute quality mate. I couldn’t stop laughing the whole night, the hour flew by. Loved the format and your comic timing is perfect – the mad faces you pull tops it all off.

Your sense of humour is wicked and appeals to all the sick bastard like me in Glesga and beyond.

Keep it up and all the best

  17. Gbear says:

The show was brilliant. Not laughed that much since Frankie Boyle at the Stand! Was the Staffy yours? A really lovely dog ;-) used to have one myslef.

    limmy. i have a question.

right, see those videos you used at your live show, i’ve heard about them, the mccafferty big brother one etc, they sound as funny as fuck, are you ever gonna put them up online once you’ve used them up with your live show?

i think thats a good question, it deservs an answer. and maybe a tenner in the post?

i’ve never been able to make it out to any of your shows, which is genuinly annoying. really wanted to see it!

    so how about it?

  19. stevey the gaylord that isn't gay says:

did my last post go on?

the jist of it was, are you gonna put those live show videos up on your site at any point?

Aye I saw Frankie Boyle as well, his entire show was made up of jokes he cracked on Mock the Week – lazy as fuck, he’s still cracking the same jokes now.

Thought the show was brilliant on Thursday night, glad that the vast majority of it was different from the Blackfriars shows earlier in the year.

  24. Just another Ross says:

It was hilarious mate, congratulations, and thanks, we had a really good night.
I thought the guy on the video clips was brilliant, he sole the show.

  25. Just another Ross says:

    then he stole it

  26. King Rossco says:

How many fuckin Rosses are there on here?
