Last week in Australia

It’s our last week in Australia. I’m just kind of free wheeling just noo until we get our flight to New Zealand, nae hurry to do anything. Lynn came back to the room for lunch after doing a bit of work, and there was me filing my toe nails in the nude and watching Dr. Phil. That’s how this week’s going.

It’s a private room, by the way, no a dorm.

I’ve only got a few things I really want to do before I leave. One is walking across the harbour bridge on the footpath it’s got, and the other is feeding crackers to the cockatoos in the botanic gardens. I saw some wean covered wae cockatoos a few months ago, aboot seven or eight of them all perched along her arms getting tucked into whatever she was feeding them, and noo ah want a shot.

And then that will be goodnight Australia!

Your post made me a bit sad! I read over what I said thinking “see this as sad” and it does look sad, but it wisnae. I thought it would be lots of fun to file my toenails and Dr. Phil was crackin. That still sounds sad, mind you, but only in the studenty patter sense.

    Hi there 1st post/comment.

Have been reliving my Sydney experience through your worldtour, lived at Darling Harbour area for 7 months, magic, what a place Sydney is.

Anyways if I have posted in time and you are still going to walk across the bridge you can go up one of the 4 towers, its got all sorts of interesting s**t about how the bridge was built etc, good photies from there too. We done that instead of the Bridge climb as we spent the cash on bevvy down at the rocks.

Hope it helps, aw ra best

  16. Limmy says:

We’re off in a few hours so we missed our chance, Davo. I was wanting to do it, but I suppose it’s best to leave a place still hungry. With regrets. Bitter.
