My favourites include this…
… which shows what I had to do one night to a girl who was snoring below me during the night. It really was a racket, it was like she was getting a greener ready with every breath. So I pulled up the mattress to see where her face was, then put the mattress down, then put my pillow case down the side of the bed like in the photie and smacked her over the face a few times till she stopped.
And this…
… which is of some Richard Ashcroft wannabe joker guy in our hostel in Byron Bay who went around tapping girls on the shoulder and taking their photo when they turned around. He wasn’t aware I was with Lynn, so he gave her the treatment when I wasn’t around to show off to his mates, which caused a bit of a light hearted argument between him and Lynn and her mates. He liked capturing the “element of surprise”, he said (women only, funnily enough), and offered to delete the picture. No harm done, just having a laugh. So when I saw him round at the shops, I gave him a taste of his own medicine, tapped him on his shoulder and took that shot. I said “cheers” and he mumbled “Oh eh, em, right”, no quite looking like a fan of being on the receiving end. A classic photo I shall treasure forever.

Glasgow misses you; was in the taxi rank last night and some jake with a singular tooth was begging for change so some guy started given it the famous “gies yer jacket” so I shouted LIMMY! and we ended up going through the videos on the site and then we got into a debate about the last line in yes or now, I was right YASSSSSS!

On the other thread about books look out for “Is it just me or is everything shit?” by Steve Lowe and Allan McArthur. It’s not a novel but an encyclopedia of modern life, fuckin hilarious.
